America will soon experience what no human has yet to: the Pluto Return. We’ve all heard of the Saturn Return – which many young people fear, some with better reason than others. Well, this is technically similar but quite different symbolically.
Planetary returns are said to begin once the transiting planet re-enters the sign that corresponds to the same one as your birth chart. This may be true energetically, and I’m sure the shift into the home sign is felt, but the Return itself does not really start to light up until 10-15 degrees out, applying (moving towards the natal degree). When the transit is applying about 3-5 degrees way, that is when it starts to activate and you can begin to see changes happening. You will begin to enter a period in your life that you remember very well decades later.
America has entered that period, particularly the 3 degree applying mark. America has a natal Pluto in Capricorn at 27 degrees. Currently, as of writing these words, transit Pluto is in Capricorn at 24 degrees. We have just entered the part of the story that will be included in the story itself as it is told in history.
While the whole story began in 2008, when Pluto first ingressed into Capricorn, what happens from this point forward will undoubtedly relate back to that. What’s one striking similarity? The government bailout.
Now, astrology is a predictive tool. That’s partially why we study it! There’s an unmistakable connection between the movements of the planets and the unfolding tales of human existence on Earth. Some astrologers can certainly predict the future with some striking accuracy. I’ve done it before. However, I know that there will always be subjective bias when it comes to anything a human tries to do. My personal opinion could get in the way of a proper prediction. That being said, I prefer sticking to themes.
The themes for this second American Revolution are thus:
Blatant corruption exposed. Abuse of power. Secrets unearthed. Battling fanaticism. Finding our own personal truth. Taking a good look at ourselves as a country. Digging out the gunk. Re-connecting with what we stand for. Re-realizing what we want to use our power and influence for. Realizing what we want the purpose of our government to be.
America is in for a new awakening. Its very Spirit is remembering itself. That is profound. It’s also difficult. We are dying and being reborn.
